B'RUM BOYO NOT INTERESTED IN COUNTRYSIDE

Speaking at some obscure journalistic awards dinner, Danny Br'um Boyo Moylan, was reported as saying, in a warlike vein,...'Bring it on. Let’s have all those proposals on the table for an airport in east London."
COUNTRYSIDE HATER?

Br'um Boyo then underscored his Birmingham roots by sneering at lovers of the countryside saying, "I am not the least bit interested in the countryside."

Moylan has a tendency to alienate those he has to work with, but to tell a nation of countryside lovers he has no interest in it-and by implication, prefers to concrete it over is damned silly.

Could this be the reason he was 'moved on' from the Olympic Legacy chair? Sources close to the Dame understand that Boris was getting fed up with complaints from colleagues who found B'rum Boyo a pill.
The tendency to piss everybody off was nowhere more clearly demonstrated than in a recent survey of MPs.
The majority scorned Norman Foster’s £50 billion Thames Estuary Hub proposal, the floating airport and Ken Shuttleworth’s plan to create a new four-runway Stansted mega-hub.
Instead, the majority went for the Heathrow expansion option. Br'um Boyo was in charge of this failed lobbying exercise..... the results speak for themselves.
Winning hearts and minds is not a Moylan specialism:without that gift you become a 'has been' politician.

But telling the world that he has no interest in the countryside is bizarre.
Time for the Dame to make an appointment with Doc 'The Fracker' Tannock?(BTW Doc...still no promised 'noise' from your brief over the Sunday Times story)

  1. Wonderful man that Moylan - Every time he gets up to debate an issue with the scummy Labour group he wipes the floor. On one occasion I heard that tears were shed afterwards ha ha ha ha ha

  2. Never heard that one before....the only one I heard was that his mad rants left Mr Sidiqui at the Town Hall in tears. If he is so damned smart how come he has not gone beyond being a little local politico-like you Palmer...hahahaha

    2. In a debate you get and make your claim - in this case the silly girl had "got out of her pram" and had to be put in her place. If the facts were so hurtful then she is in the wrong place, it was not bullying, it was winning the argument.

      It was very funny

Whatever are you talking about Palmer? Which debate when, and who was upset?

Moylan has barely spoken in Council for a year, he's out of the chamber most of the time due to conflict of interests.

Mahmood Siddiqi,Director of Transportation and Highways is highly skilled and a nice guy. Making a public servant cry is a sign of extremely bad management and low breeding,
One should treat servants-public or private, with respect.

  6. Such a conflicted person. He just has to get noticed and found out that the way to do so is to get up our noses. Good brain plus lousy judgement equals personal calamity

  8. He so wants to be admired and respected within the architectural community.

This project makes him look a total fool.

  9. 1 You are scared of Moylan, not contested, but instead you choose blackmail as your reply.

2 Cllr Moylan was so good at the Councils Highways job he was put on the board of Transport for London. Boris could have sacked him but no he gave him another job worth billions of pounds.

We are very fortunate to know such a great person as Cllr Daniel Moylan FRICS

    1. Cllr Palmer....this is so sweet and touching! This grammar is so garbled it has to be you. You are like some ghastly junior brat sucking up to one of the big boys in the 6th form. Your idolisation of your big friend is quite embarrassing. I had no idea that the Br'um Boy was a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.....
I suspect you are becoming an embarrassment to Boyo with all your cloying small boy hero worship. So sycophantic it could be his partner! Hahahaha

    3. 15:49 don't you have something better to do?.

'Either you are Palmer or there are others on this blog as stupid as him?'...I got exhausted just reading this. I think you might mean 'Either you are Palmer or are there other on this blog as stupid as him' and the G in grammer should be in lower case.

  16. Person Familiar with The Situation28 November 2012 at 05:49

The ball is in play and the situation is very unstable. Cllr Cockell wants to hang on to his SRA as Leader of K&C but is finding that he has less and less time (and diary clashes) because of his main job at the Local Government Association. He is hoping for a second chance at the House of Lords and is using his friends to lobby David Cameron - elevation would ease a loss of earnings from K&C and provide the status and pomp that he yearns for. For the time being he needs to keep his options open and does not want the boat to rock before May 2013 when he needs to commit for another year in Hornton Street. Cockell realises that Cllr Moylan is the wild card. Unhappy and marginalised at the GLA, Moylan is starting to feel that he needs to find new pastures. And he is quite capable of a unilateral challenge to Cockell for the Leadership of K&C, something that he did before losing by only a single vote. And that was the Chairman's casting vote. Cockell understands the threat and has offered Moylan the position of Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea in 2013. This would remove the threat for one more year. It is not known if Cllr Moylan has accepted the offer

  17. Once again democracy and the interests of voters is subordinated to the personal machinations of K&C politicians. This blatant horse trading should be stopped. It is time for an intervention by ex MP and Ward Chairman, Mathew Carrington, Chairman of Kensington, Chelsea and Fulham Conservatives. Mathew is a person of integrity and this kind of thing should not be happening on his watch
