I hope the parents of Notting Hill Prep read and digest this comment from Cllr Palmer.

I make an allowance for the fact this comment was made by the near certifiable Cllr Palmer, but it does underline the contempt for democracy clumsily encapsulated in this oafish comment.
Cllrs Paget-Brown and Ahern have been clear in their determination to listen to residents: something the 'ancien regime' run by Merrick Cockell disdained to do.
I like to believe that Cllr Paget-Brown and Ahern are honourable men.
It is a great pity that their colleague, Cllr Palmer, scorns their idea that residents should have a real say in how their council is run.
The warning signs are all too clear.
In Chelsea we already know that a trio of independents are examining their options ahead of the May elections.
