THE DAME AND HER BREXIT COIFFEUR

With the 'Festive Season' fast approaching the Dame popped down to see Mr Dos Santos at his Belgravian salon.
Mr Dos Santos has been 'curating' the Dame's voluminous hair for some time so he and she love to share juicy tittle-tattle.
The Dame lost no time in pressing dear Deir on how he managed to get involved in the High Court Brexit action.
Giggling, Dos Santos said, "Oh Dame, you naughty old thing, I can't possibly tell you".
The Dame, being a nosey old thing, pressed the point. 'Deir, but your solicitor said you were just an 'ordinary chap' who had voted leave, so why the change of heart?"
THE COIFFEUR...GOOD FRIENDS

"Deir, your secret is safe with me: is Mr Dominic Chambers, QC, the prime mover behind the High Court action, one of your clients, or are you just VERY,VERY good friends?"

THE QC AND HIS COIFFEUR

Is the Dame suggesting that Mr Dos Santos and Mr Chambers QC are an item?

    1. If Commander Phelps is correct why did Dominic Chambers QC admit that his relationship with Dos Santos was not as promoted to the press.

  2. This is about as silly as complaining about gay fencers.

    1. Oh, no it's not! A leading QC starts an action and uses his friend without telling the world the truth

  3. The Dame is stirring again. She does not have much time for these legal buffers.

  5. This has NOTHING to do with homophopbia but all to do with not misleading the public.
Mr Dos Santos admitted to voting Leave so we are entitled to know why he has allowed himself to launch the High Court action with Gina Miller. There are questions to be answered.
    1. Why did he change his mind
    2. Did Chambers have anything to with that change of heart
    3. Did Chambers know Dos Santos prior to the case commencement
    4. If he did, why did he not make clear that he and Dos Santos were friends

    We should be told....

  6. Bizarre. Perhaps one of the Dame's many erudite correspondents can inform us if there might be something behind this that's more serious than being just plain - odd. Even as a layman, there appear to be any number of potential complexities here.

  7. the fact that a former model, a Brazilian hairdresser and a plumber can take on the government and win speaks well of the UK, even for those, like me, who would wish the Government to get on with it.
